What we collect

  • Account and order data: name, email, phone, shipping and billing address, order history, the research-use acknowledgment you accept at checkout (with date, time and IP address).
  • Payment data: handled by our payment gateway. We store only the card brand, last four digits, expiration and a payment token; full card numbers never reach our servers.
  • Site usage: pages visited, device and browser, referral source, approximate location from IP, via first-party analytics and cookies. See Cookies below.
  • Communications: emails you send us, reviews you post, referral activity.

How we use it

To process and ship orders, verify payment and prevent fraud, provide your account, send transactional emails (order, shipping, delivery, return), answer support, run the referral program, and, with your consent, send marketing emails about products, restocks and offers. We also use aggregated data to improve the site.

Marketing email and SMS

You choose whether to receive marketing email at checkout or in your account, and every marketing email has a one-click unsubscribe. We do not send marketing SMS at this time; if we add it, it will be opt-in only and you can reply STOP at any time.

Who we share with

Only the providers needed to run the store: payment gateway and merchant bank (payment processing and fraud screening), UPS and our shipping software (labels and tracking), email delivery service, hosting and database providers, analytics, and error monitoring. Each receives only what its function requires and may not use your data for anything else. We share data with authorities when the law requires it.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers.

Cookies

We use first-party cookies for your cart, login session and site analytics, and a referral cookie (30 days) when you arrive through a referral link. You can block cookies in your browser; the cart and login will not work without the essential ones.

Retention

Order records, including the research-use acknowledgment, are kept for 7 years for accounting, tax and dispute purposes. Account data is kept while your account is active. Marketing preferences are kept until you change them.

Your rights

You can view and update your data in your account, export it, or ask us to delete your account and any data we are not legally required to keep, by emailing privacy@luminapeptideslab.com. California residents may exercise their CCPA/CPRA rights (access, deletion, correction, and to know that we do not sell or share data for advertising) through the same address. We respond within 30 days.

Security

Encrypted connections (TLS) throughout, payment tokenization, two-factor authentication on administrative access, and an audit log of every administrative action.

Children

The site is for adults 21 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 21.
